Journalism Journey
I joined the journalism staff my sophomore year of high school and after only a few months of being on staff, I was given the position of lifestyle editor. I moved on to become editor-in-chief my senior year. I enjoyed writing for the Crimson Crier as well as other media companies, competing at state and national levels and using my voice to advocate for the rights of student journalists. I wanted to continue my passion at The University of Alabama and I am now a staff reporter for the culture desk for The Crimson White.
